Stephania’s journey began as an inquisitive child with a natural talent for creation. Mentored by local artisans who recognized her tenacity, she learned the fundamentals of product formulation early on.
The true catalyst for Stephania’s Collections, however, was the birth of her son, Marcau. Faced with his severe eczema and chemical sensitivities, Stephania applied her knowledge to develop gentle, oil-based remedies. Her mission expanded in 2010 when she recognized the health risks—specifically the link between certain cancers and toxic ingredients—often found in personal care products marketed to women of color.
Determined to create a safer solution, Stephania earned formal certifications in natural skincare formulation. The brand represents a shift away from invasive chemicals toward clean, non-toxic luxury. Stephania’s Collections utilizes only ethically sourced, pesticide-free ingredients to ensure that every product not only hydrates and rejuvenates the skin but also provides peace of mind for the health-conscious consumer.

As the co-founder of Stephania’s Co., with a background in architecture, I apply the discipline and structural integrity to the creation of a purpose-driven brand. For me, design has always been about more than just form; it is about purpose, balance, and accountability. I have used those same principles to build the foundation of this company alongside my wife, Stephania.
The catalyst for our venture was personal: our son’s struggle with severe asthma forced us to re-evaluate the environments we create and the products we accept into our lives. While balancing a demanding full-time career in architecture, I dedicated myself to helping my wife build this brand from the ground up without shortcuts and with a commitment to holistic science. Co-creating Stephania’s Co. is one of my proudest professional achievements, representing a fusion of resilient entrepreneurship, spiritual awareness, and the architectural belief that what we build should truly honor the lives it touches.
